Get Ready to Get Recruited!

Welcome to the blog! I wanted to create a space where I could share my thoughts on the variety of topics you will experience in recruiting, but in particular, for you to get to know me better and how I approach this process.

I am a firm believer that there is a place for everyone.

Now, before you think I can get your child a full scholarship at a Power 5 school, you must understand the caveat to my previous statement. I firmly believe there is a place for everyone………. everyone willing to put in the work, clearly understands who they are as a student-athlete, and, most importantly, has realistic expectations about their goals.

These three characteristics lay the foundation necessary to embark on this journey with an open mind and a clear understanding of your child's best fit. I know “fit” is a word you hear primarily from your guidance counselor or college counselor, but it is something just as vital in the athletic world.

Other services sometimes measure their success on getting their clients to the “best” athletic destinations. There is nothing wrong with that if that’s your goal. I’m a big proponent of finding the school that checks off as many of your boxes as possible. I do that intentionally. In the event athletics don’t work out, you are in a place you love and want to be.

My experience on numerous college campuses has opened my eyes to the pitfalls families face when going through this process. I’ve been lucky to have people pointing me in the right direction throughout my athletic and professional career. Their guidance has made the difference in what I view as a very successful time.

I genuinely believe it's now my turn to pay it forward to families, so please come along for this ride.
